Instrumentation
This course is offered for Apprentices and Qualified Electricians who are interested in obtaining their Certificate III in Instrumentation Hazardous Areas qualification. This course is conducted in two week blocks over a preiod of 12 - 24 months. This course uses the national units of competency from the UEE31807.

High Voltage Operator
This course is aimed at Electrical Personnel who are involved in Electrical Generation and Transmission.
The training is conducted over 4 days (3days theory and 1 day practical) and covers the requirements set out in the National Units of Competency.

Safety when working with High Voltage is the major thrust of this course with participants having to successfully demonstrate knowledge and compliance to achieve competency.

Restricted Electrical License
This course is offered to participants who have received approval from the Northern Territory Electrical Workers and Contractor Board’s to be trained in the Units of Competency selected and issued by the Board.
The thrust of this training is to non-electrical personnel who have a requirement to conduct basic electrical repairs in the course of their normal duties.
Electrical safety and basic electrical theory is a major part of this training and participants need to demonstrate a sound knowledge of both to achieve competency.
The training is both classroom and workplace based and participants will need to be supervised by a suitably qualified Licensed Electrical Worker.

Electrical Contractors and Nominees
This course is available for electricians who hold a current Northern Territory Electrical Mechanics License and wish to become either an Electrical Contractor in their own right or a Nominated Person (nominee).
The training covers two electrical theory modules (maximum demand and circuit design plus NT legislation, electrical safety and testing) and one business module, with the total time required to complete these being three weeks.

The modules contain both theoretical and practical components that the successful participants need to be able to demonstrate competency in.

Electrical Bridging Courses
This course is available to holders of “B” Grade or Electrical Fitter License that wish to complete the extra requirements to attain an NT Electrician (Un-restricted) License.
The training is classroom based with both theoretical and practical components. Participants need to successfully achieve both of these components to receive competency and then apply for their license.
This course also provides a pathway for Australian Armed Forces Personnel to take in order to meet some of the criteria for the civilian Electrician (Un-restricted) License.

Electrical Refreshers
These two day courses are designed to highlight to holders of Electrical Licenses the latest changes in their industry and to revisit previously acquired skills and knowledge.
